affaan-m/ecc
The affaan-m/ecc project provides an agent harness performance optimization system and engineering toolbox supporting environments such as Claude Code, Codex, and Kimi Code. The framework structures coding agent workflows into an integrated operational cycle: planning before building, verifying modifications with tests, reviewing code from a fresh context, preserving critical memories, and converting repeated successes into reusable skills. This design optimizes the model context window while persistently maintaining essential project state. In addition to primary integration with Claude Code and native Codex plugin paths, ECC supplies capability-limited adapters for harnesses such as Cursor, OpenCode, and Gemini. The GitHub snapshot shows the repository is not archived.
The target audience consists of software developers and engineers using agent harnesses to run coding agents. Verified prerequisites require Node.js version 18 or newer, while Claude Code plugin configuration additionally requires Git and Claude Code version 2.1 or newer available on PATH. Users can initiate the recommended universal guided setup via npx with:
npx ecc-universal@2.2.3 setup
To configure multiple coding agents simultaneously across Claude Code, Codex, and Kimi Code, users can execute the guided multi-harness installer:
npx ecc-universal@2.2.3 install --guided
Setup can also be executed through modern package runners including pnpm, Yarn 2+, and Bun. The core framework is distributed under the open-source MIT License, alongside a commercial hosted GitHub App named ECC Pro for private repositories.
